The worrying increase in child and adolescent mental health problems justifies the relevance of this special issue. We explore the most relevant and current issues in the field of child psychiatry. From somatization in childhood and adolescence to the impact of screens and social networks on mental health, including the epidemiology of autism spectrum disorders and eating disorders. In addition, we address the use of drugs in child psychiatry. This content, developed by experts, aims to provide professionals interested in child and adolescent mental health with up-to-date tools and knowledge that will enable them to face this challenge effectively.
